Silhouette Camper Trailer 2003
|
||
Introduction Caravan World has already done a review of the Silhouette (shown here). However after seeing The Silhouette Camper Trailers at the Melbourne Caravan & Camping show, just a month after it's release, I decided I'd also do a review, specifically for the Internet. Coromal is one of only three serious manufacturers presently in this area of the Australian Recreational Vehicle Market. Jayco and Goldstream are the others. Windup Camper Trailers are in a category of their own. They have a solid windup roof, and expanding canvas section with mostly fixed furniture and appliances in the body. There is no argument that Jayco have been the market leaders, as far as volume goes, with Coromal and Goldstream, fighting for second place. Watch out Jayco! Coromal is now on your heals. This review shows why I believe Coromal now has Australia's BEST windup Camper Trailer. But at a price. The Silhouette is dearer than Jayco's Camper Trailers, and rightly so. This review is pointing out the features of the Silhouette, as displayed at the Melbourne Caravan and Camping show 2003. Jayco and Goldstream have some of these features, but many are unique to Coromal. Peter Smith |
